Easy mounting
It may sound complicated, but it isn't
Installing a standard Picatinny rail takes 5-10 minutes – even if you've never done it before. You don't need a gunsmith, and you don't need special tools. All you need is:
- Oil
- Threadlocker
- A screwdriver (preferably with torque adjustment)
- A cloth
Mounting the rail
- Clean the top of the receiver and the bottom of the rail
- Apply a thin layer of oil and wipe it off with the cloth
- Position the rail so the holes in the rail and receiver align
- Apply oil or threadlocker to the screws (instructions are included – this varies slightly from manufacturer to manufacturer)
- Tighten the screws to the recommended torque (this is also in the instructions)
Done. You have now mounted a Picatinny rail.
Mounting a scope mount
- Separate the rings
- Mount the bottom of the rings on your Picatinny rail or bases
- Place the scope in the rings
- Screw the top of the ring to the bottom with 2 Nm
That's it :-)
